I’m feeling inspired by Scandinavian sophistication. The Scandinavian interiors scene is showcasing so much sophisticated style recently, I just had to share some with you. Abstract art, marble plinths, artisan pottery, luxurious materials, sculpture and stylish lighting. It may all sound a little grand but many Scandinavian designers have pared back the opulence, simplifying with style. With inspirationg buzzing in my head I’ve created a mood board to show that Scandinavian design can be sophisticated, homely and warm with a bit of edge.

Harrison Chandelier designed by Søren Rose studio for Menu | Stroke Art Print, Fine Little Day | Sculpture | Marble Plinth designed by Norm Architects for Menu | Stick Shelving system designed by Jan + Henry for Menu | Dome vase by Kristina Dam | Flower pot table lamp designed by Verner Panton for & Tradition | Swoon lounge chair designed by Space Copenhagen for Fredericia | The Moor Rug, designed by All The Way To Paris for & Tradition
I’ve created an Pinterest board with some inspiring rooms oozing with Scandinavian sophistication, hop over and have a look!
