Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics at London’s new Sticks ‘n’ Sushi restaurant

The new Sticks ‘n’ Sushi restaurant has opened on Kings Road in the heart of London’s Chelsea. If you’ve lived in London like me you’d say THE Kings road, pretentious yes but hey it is THE Kings road. The interior has been designed by Norm Architects whom I have talked about a lot on my blog. They have a knack for creating contemporary luxury in their minimalist Scandinavian style. And this restaurant is definitely something to talk about.

Within the Sticks ‘n’ Sushi restaurant the rooms are painted in Jotun Lady Minerals paint which gives a warm yet raw finish. Custom made Japanese style lighting is mixed with Danish design, wood panelling, sculptural leather sofas and natural stone tops. These elements create the perfect mix of Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics.
