I’m always taken back by the new designs coming out of Scandinavia each month. The designers here are certainly the best at reinventing simplicity and timeless designs. I’ve selected a few items that have been on my radar and can see each one becoming a new classic.

Ferm living are full of surprises. Their new designs each season wow me every time. Non more so that the new Insert table, available this Autumn ’18. A beautiful and functional side table with playful use of form in a natural ash wood. Available Autumn 2018   |

Cecilie Manz can do little wrong in my eyes. Her minimalistic designs have a signature curve  (or a least I’ve noticed this run through her work). Adding to the designs for Muuto Cecilie has emphasised the traditional craftsmanship and materiality with her Workshop Coffee Table. It’s all in the details.    |

The Hubert lighting series, designed by New York studio Søren Rose Studio for Menu. The ivory tones and soft forms are a refreshing upgrade to industrial lighting.   |

Skagerak have launched their first ever cabinet and it’s a beauty. The Jut cabinet designed in collaboration with British designer Thomas Jenkins (now living in Oslo) is made with natural oak and brass detailing. A simply luxurious cabinet. Available September 2018  |

The Curved leather pouf by Kristina Dam is likely to be a regular in most interiors editorials and styling shots. So simple with a soft minimalist statement. Yes please!
