If you love minimalism and Danish design you’ll be sure to know Menu. Every year they release new products while shooting them in a very contemporary and inspiring way. I love it.
As I mentioned before in my January Edit most of the new products launched this year will be showcased at the Stockholm Furniture fair. Prior to the fair the press and design industry receive sneak peaks of the new designs with incredible imagery like these.
New products include the Tearoom sofa designed by Nick Ross. Together with the Tearoom club and lounge chair this series has a clean silhouette with soft curves. This fully upholstered range is not only suitable for commercial properties such as hotels but also perfect for the home.
The Bank pendant designed by Norm Architects is crafted from mouth blown glass. Which with the opal glass gives a soft 360- degree light.
The variations of the Harbour chair are quite endless. Now they include a side chair version. A choice of legs, buckets seat or side, upholstered or not, etc etc. You get the idea. It’s exciting when you can customise a product to suit the project or your home.
The Co chair designed by Norm Architect is a new edition. The one above include arm rests in quite the mid century style. It was design in collaboration with The Office group as a multifunctional chair addressing space and design challenges for both private and public spaces.
I’m sure that we will see much more from Menu this year, their product development is ever growing. I’ll let you know how I get on in Stockholm!
