Decorating the home for Christmas is something that I get a bit anxious about. I don’t want to create clutter or lose the minimalist simplicity I’ve got going on. A few Saturdays ago I was invited to an intimate Christmas styling workshop at Skandium, hosted by Mathilde from MK Design and Ashley from Occipinti . Here, a small group of us made clay gift tags, wrapped presents and what I loved the most, decorating a brass ring, by Danish brand Strups , to a simple wreath.
I’ve shared this picture on my instagram page and couldn’t resist sharing it again on the blog. The foliage I chose for my wreath was eucalyptus and some other simple green leaf with green berries. Not over loading the wreath shows off the beautiful brass ring and the foliage equally well. The main tips I’d give is the attach the foliage all pointing in the same direction. You can also hide the string with more leaves and just have fun with it. My wreath isn’t too christmassy so I feel like I might leave it up there a while, it’s so pretty.
M k design and Occipinti host many cool workshops you should check them out, I found it really relaxing and fun. More info here .
Strups brass ring is also available from Skandivis or direct through Strups.dk
