Tiles worth trembling over

Being an Ex Fired Earthling and having designed countless bathrooms for Fired Earth and CP Hart, I have quite the eye for a good tile. Never under estimate how a tile can change your room completely.

I’ve found some sexy tiles that, what can I say, do it for me. Not just for a bathroom or Kitchen, tiles can revamp any room, I hope at least these that I’ve selected can inspire you.

  •  Bisazza Mosaics – I’ve always been a fan of these luxurious Italian Mosaics. This month’s lust tile is the geometric Giza range. I particularly like the Gold and White colour palette, they do cost a pretty penny but if you have it spare and want to create a statement then you can never go wrong with some Bisazza Mosaics. Simply stunning.

  • Retro Metro Holland Park – Available from Fired Earth. Price 69.70 per sqm

I remember selling countless Retro Metro Tiles and dreaming of the day that they would produce taupe tiles in this range. Here they are and there are 37 variations of this Metro brick tile. It’s classic and utterly beautiful and affordable too! Check them out for yourself.

  •  East Hampton, White Marble Hexagonal Mosaics. Available from Fired Earth. Price 149.90 Per sqm

This beautiful white marble range of tile from Fired Earth is a an exciting addition to their classic tile range. With a contemporary twist the East Hampton range includes these Hexagonal Mosaics. If you have a keen eye for detail then this range could be for you as there’s a wide selection of sizes in this stone, including floor tiles beading and skirting panels.

  • Dechirer La Suite, Cemento Net. Designed by Patricia Urquiola. Available at Surface Tiles

Yeah yeah yeah, Patricia is one of my heroes and yes, of course I love this range of tiles!!!! Just look how gorgeous it is! Available in the super huge format 1190 x 1190mm, more sizes available.

Faux stone, good or bad? Well If you check this range out you’d agree with me that it’s not all too bad. This range is a marvel in faux marble at a fraction of the cost.

  • Norway, porcelain tiles, Cappuccino. Available from Domus Tiles.

This ceramic timber range is perfect for the Scandinavian style. This is on my wish list for my house to be. Available in three different plank sizes and an anti-slip, plus to top it off it has ECO credentials being made from 40% recylcled material.
