Ever dreamt about running your own shop and selling the prettiest products around? Well it seems that Lizzie Evans, owner of Smug in Islington has not only done that but made a creative hub for her interior and graphic design (not to mention the cute smug café too!).
This cute and ever so stylish shop based in the dreamy location of Camden Passage, Islington, is stretched over three floors. Filled with stationary, books, cushions, small furniture items, textiles, prints and many other interior accessories, really is a dream. Featuring many brands and designers such as Donna Wilson, Rifle Paper Co, Rosie Moss, Ferm Living to name a few, the product selection is fab, stylish and fun. I’ve fallen in love with the Guinea pig tea towel which is an exclusive collaboration with SMUG and Thornback & Peel.
The top floor is usually a space for workshops and events but I recently visited the shop and they have opened it up as Christmas floor! What I loved about it was the fact it wasn’t overly Christmassy, instead a carefully selected range of stylish gifts with a decorations , cards and wrapping too. However I failed in the attempt to buy for others and just bought for myself, oops.
If you can make it over there it’s worth a visit.
