Decor8 Workshop Book launch at Anthropologie

So I finally made it out! 4 months post op and I’m testing the old noggin.

Last night I went to the book launch of Holly Becker’s (the founder of decor8blog.com) new book named Decorate Workshop.

This was held at the Regent Street showroom of Anthropologie, such a beautiful showroom, I was definitely swept away with the magic of the place, the champagne and room full of bloggers/creatives.

Holly spoke for a short while about her book (very strange to see someone in real life that you follow on the web and read about), she was then accompanied by Will from brightbazaar.blogspot.co.uk who asked Holly some great questions. Will and Holly chatted about her best and worst bits of creating a book, the importance of personal style and how you creatively respond to a space. To be honest I could have listened for hours but we only had a few minutes.

We were then introduced to James Leland Day (interior designer and stylist extraordinaire) who briefly spoke about his style and reassured us about having fun with design, trust in you instincts (as long as they are stylish!) and let your eclectic side out!

It was all very fun and I got the book signed by Holly, it was so busy though and overwhelmed me slightly so I don’t actually think I made any sense when talking to her! haha she was very kind and sweet and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to meet her.

A lovely evening, lovely book and successful noggin outing. xx

So wonderful to meet you there. Your blog is GORGEOUS! There was so much talent in one room 🙂 I’m yet to blog about the evening – so great to relive it here. Soon, I will 🙂
