What a dream, I spent an afternoon in the stunning Liberty of London Heritage Suite making Christmas decorations with Liberty fabric. Organised by Katy from Apartment Apothecary and Charlotte from Lotts & Lots, they invited a group of creative bloggers who had contributed to their Styling the seasons blog challenge and I was one lucky blogger to be on that list!
So if you can imagine a fancy room full of crafters/bloggers, a huge pile of Liberty fabric, a table full of craft supplies and loads of cake, we made a mess, chatted endlessly, fabric flying everywhere, the MOST FUN EVER! Everyone had such different ideas, all so creative and pretty, I can’t wait to see everyone’s finished results. The craft event was photographed by the very talented Photographer Katharine Peachey, all of the pictures in the post were taken by her, pretty pics hey!
I’ll be making some more decorations at home with the fabric samples left over and also featuring my decorations in the December Styling the Seasons blog post.
Liberty London were incredibly generous by letting us take over such a beautiful room and go crazy with with bundles of their fabric (thanks Hannah Matthews and Liberty gang, so so generous, not to mention the fab goodie bag!). Kate from The Homemakery also donated lots of craft supplies to add to our Christmas creations, thanks so much Kate!
It was lovely to meet everyone involved, thanks for such a great afternoon.
Special thanks to:
I still think I’m on a fabric high and I’m not willing to come down.
